This trip focused on farming, getting to see first hand the advancement of technology used in farming in developed countries and learning the best practices that we can implement here back at home. Robotics and automation in farming is where we are headed. It allows for collection and data storage which influence decisions as opposed to chance.
The three countries have their governments fully involved in control farming, ensuring that total compliance is achieved. The machinery used is sturdy and reliable, hardly ever breaking down. Their passion for farming was evident from the figures and information that was committed to memory. Farming is treated as a viable career, with specialists in different spheres.
The farmers were confident that their best practices could be successfully implemented in Kenya.
