John Okulo was appointed Director of Corporate Banking at KCB Bank Kenya on June 2, 2023. Prior to this appointment, he served as Group Director, Corporate Banking at NCBA Bank PLC. He has over 24 years of professional experience in banking, having previously held leadership positions as Chief Commercial Officer at Commercial Bank of Africa in Kenya, Managing Director at NC Bank Uganda, and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Uganda.
John holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Gdansk, Poland, and has acquired various global and local certifications throughout his career.
His extensive experience spans the local and regional banking industry, with particular expertise in corporate and investment banking across East Africa. This wealth of experience positions him well to drive KCB's corporate banking strategy and contribute to the bank's continued growth in the region.
