KCB allows you receive your Money Transfer at your convenience simply by accessing the service in your mobile banking App or USSD (dial *522#), Internet banking or at the branch outlets. The service enables you to deposit the remittance into your bank account. You do not need to travel to any branch to receive your money transfer.

    Sending Money Using Western Union

      • To send money, open your KCB App, tap on ‘Global Transfers’, select ‘Send Money’ & follow prompts.
        You will need:
        • Sufficient funds in your Bank account
        • Senders full name and surname as per their national identification document
        • Country of receive
      • If you would prefer to visit a branch to complete your transaction, you will need you ID, Passport, Alien card) and relevant documentation (risk profile dependent).
      • A friendly teller will capture your send transaction details and provide you with a 10 digit transaction identification number.
      • You would need to provide the recipient you have sent money to with the relevant Money Transfer reference number.
      • The receiver can then collect the cash from the relevant Money Transfer agent in the beneficiary country.

    Receiving a Money Transfer Using Western Union

      • Obtain the unique 10 digit Money Transfer reference number from the sender.
      • To receive money, open your KCB App, tap on ‘Global Transfers’, select ‘Receive Money’ & follow prompts.
        You will need:
        • Valid KCB Bank Account™
        • Western Union Unique 10-digit MTCN number
      • If you would prefer to visit a branch to complete your transaction, you will need personal identification and relevant (risk profile dependent).
      • A friendly teller will assist you by capturing the relevant transaction details.
      • Once approved, you will receive your transaction payout in local currency.
  • RIA Financials

    Available in over 160 countries, in over 397,000 locations and trading in 100+ currencies. Customers can access Cash pick up, bank deposits and home delivery services (in some countries) with this partner. The KCB partnership allows you to receive your money at any of our branches and deposit the money transfer into your bank account.

    Receiving a money transfer using MoneyGram:

    • Obtain the Money Transfer reference number from the sender.
    • Visit a KCB Bank branch, with personal identification and relevant documentation (risk profile dependent).
    • A friendly teller will assist you by capturing the relevant transaction details.
    • Once approved, you will receive your transaction payout local currency.
  • Transfast

    Available in over 125 countries in Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa with connections to over 300 banks. It offers P2P, B2P and B2B services through it’s partners. The company currently does not operate in USA and Canada. The partnership with KCB allows for cash pick up and account based money transfer in the Mobile App, USSD and IBank. – Add on top.
