Defending National Sevens Circuit champions KCB Rugby Club have declared their readiness to begin the defence of their crown when the 2026 season gets underway with the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru on July 25-26.
The bankers head into the opening leg of the circuit with confidence after strengthening their squad and intensifying preparations over the past few weeks. KCB have been drawn in Pool C alongside Catholic Monks, Nondies Rugby and NYS Spades, setting up an exciting start to their title defence.
“The boys have prepared well and are eager to get the season underway. We understand the challenge of being defending champions, because every team wants to beat you. Our focus is on taking one match at a time, executing our game plan and maintaining the standards that helped us win the title last season,” noted Head Coach Andrew Amonde.
