The Kenya Women’s National Volleyball side, Malkia Strikers, have set up a mouth-watering quarterfinal encounter against rivals Algeria in the ongoing Women’s African Volleyball Championship in Nairobi.
The encounter is expected to rekindle memories of the 2015 African Championship, when Kenya defeated Algeria 3-0 in the final at the same venue in Nairobi to claim their last continental title on home soil.
KCB Women’s Volleyball Team players Belinda Barasa, Josphine Kataa, Esther Mutinda and Marlene Terry were all involved in the national team’s quarter-final run. They are expected to propel the team to victory in the competition, which ends on September 5, 2026.
