KCB-supported schools delivered strong performances at the just-concluded KSSSA county championships, with several teams winning titles and others progressing to regional-level competitions.
In football, Musingu High School finished second in Kakamega County after a narrow 7-6 loss on penalties to Butere Boys in the final. They had earlier beaten Kakamega High School 2-0 in the semi-finals and will now advance to the Western Region Championships set for July 8 -11 in Bungoma. In Vihiga County, Madira Girls Secondary School were crowned champions after defeating Ibubi Girls in the final.
In volleyball, Soweto Academy dominated Nairobi County with a 3-0 win over State House Girls, while Kesogon Secondary School similarly claimed the Trans-Nzoia title after defeating St. Joseph Girls 3-0. In Machakos County, Kwanthanze Secondary School is set to compete in their county final this weekend.
