Founded in 1993, KCB FC has risen to be a formidable football side playing in the top-tier league in Kenya, the FKF-premier league. Better known as the bankers, the team has produced some of the best football talents that this country boasts of. KCB FC is currently coached by gaffer Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno and his assistant is Godfrey Oduor. The bankers came close to clinching their maiden Kenya Premier League title in the 2020/21 season finishing second with 3 points behind the league winners. In the previous season 2019/21, the team was promoted from the second-tier division; Kenya Super League to the Kenya Premier League. KCB FC is known for its explosive attacking style of football. In the concluded season (2021/22) Striker, Derrick Otanga scooped the golden boot award and the team finished 7^th garnering 49points. The bankers won Kenya Transparency Cup in 2004 and with the new additions in 2022 to an already star-studded squad, the 2022/23 season looks promising for the team.
