Manager Clean Energy & Green Lending

Responsible for the growth of market share in the Clean Energy & Green lending segment through the development and execution of the MSME Oil and Gas sector strategy and achieve profitable growth of the Clean Energy & Green lending segment and growth of the Oil & Gas value chain assets, liabilities and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative Clean Energy & Green lending segment products and services in liaison with Senior Manager Oil & Gas and other stakeholders including technology driven solutions based on quantified customer needs and industry trends.
  • Grow the market share in the Clean Energy & Green lending segment by building and maintaining an effective sales plan in the Clean Energy & Green lending sector that will grow existing and new business based on agreed targets.
  • Develop appropriate plans, project concepts and proposals that will enhance and grow the banks partnerships within the Clean Energy & Green lending segment.
  • Build a Clean Energy & Green lending segment asset portfolio as per the set targets and maintain portfolio quality within acceptable credit risk exposure as per international standards.
  • Monitor, understand and highlight competitor activity and customer trends that affect Clean Energy & Green lending segment and identify opportunities for new products development.
  • Prepare comprehensive communication, training on Clean Energy & Green lending segment products/ services, brand and promotional campaigns.
  • Create brand internalization through training programs and support to the bank staff and sales teams to enhance product knowledge of the Clean Energy & Green lending segment products with an aim of increasing product uptake.
  • Evaluate, Monitor and co-ordinate project Implementation.
  • Motivate, coach and develop a high performing team.
  • Enterprise-wide Risk Management; -Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Credit policy prudential guidelines, combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to mitigate against losses, frauds, forgeries, and regulatory penalties’

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any relevant degree.
  • 6 years’ proactive selling skills
  • 5 years’ credit underwriting skills
  • 6 years’ Customer relationship management
  • 3 years’ banking operations
