Senior Relationship Manager, Investor Services

The Position:

The role of the senior relationship Manager, investor Services is to provide Corporate Trustee Services for collective investment schemes and retirement benefits schemes and ensure the schemes are managed in compliance with the CMA Act, Collective Investment Schemes Regulations, Retirement Benefits Act and Regulations, and KCB policies and procedures.

The role holder will also source, expand, and retain existing client relationships to increase market share and profitability of the Corporate Trustee Services business offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development and implementation of the Corporate Trustee Services business strategy to achieve the assigned profitability targets
• Responsible for delivery of seamless customer service through maintenance of high service standards
• Responsible for stakeholder management for the Corporate Trustee business (customers, fund managers, regulators, administrators, other stakeholders)
• Responsible for enforcement of risk excellence and compliance requirements (regulatory, audit, internal controls)
• Lead, direct and develop a high performing and motivated team.

The Person:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

• University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Trustee Development Program Certification
• Capital Markets Program Certification
• Five (5) years’ experience in Corporate Trustee Services sector, with at least 3 years’ experience in Relationship Management
• Experience in engagement and management of relations with the industry regulators.
