Operational Analyst

The overall responsibility is to ensure that the operations of the company are carried out efficiently. The holder will be responsible for maintenance of client data to ensure timely account creation, purchase, receipting, withdrawal, and reconciliation of clients’ accounts while ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies guideline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of client’s static data in the system. 
• Daily processing of client instructions such as contributions, withdrawal, redemption of units and reconciliation of client accounts daily.   
• Prepare and dispatch instructions to the custodians.
• Liaise with custodians for resolution of reconciliation issues. 
• End of day processes for purposes of generating pricing. 
• Analyze, consolidate, and present production reports weekly and monthly. 
• Dispatch of client statements. 
• Participate and attend scheduled trustee meetings. 
• Maintain log of client complaints for onward resolution. 
• Prepare and dispatch instructions to the custodians.
• Generate agent commission monthly statements for onward approval. 
• Generate reports on regulatory fees for payment. 
• Build and maintain strategic alliances for business growth with intermediaries and industry stakeholders. 
• Constantly updating clients on new and existing products. 
• Liaising with the various departments to ensure timely service delivery to the clients. 
• Provide the necessary documents and ensure returns to the regulators are filled within the required timeframes. 
• Any other tasks that may be assigned to him during this transition period. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business related or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Certification or pursuing either CFA, CPA, CISA, CCMS, ICIFA, ACCA is an added advantage.
• 3 years’ experience in unit trust operations
