Agency Support Specialist

The role holder shall maintain an efficient Card Management System and lead in coordination of Agency and Merchant channels initiatives.

Deliver quality service to both internal and external customers and always provide high system availability of systems.

Provide operational assistance and guidance in IT related areas to the Card Business team and ensure compliance of the payment associations.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical 2nd level support for the Bank's digital channels namely: POS, ATM, Agency Banking, Ecommerce as well as Host to Host Integration to 3rd Party partners.
  • Provide first level IT training and support to users in addition to keeping track of user issues and oversee their prompt resolution.
  • Delivering business quality solutions by ensuring that they are well tested and are rolled out in a manner that adheres to established business processes.
  • Work closely with IT Security to ensure that the Agency and Merchant Systems are well secured and in implementing SSL and other encryption certificates for ensuring robust and secure Digital Channels services.
  • Performing core systems administration tasks that include, but not limited to, maintaining an inventory of systems, patch management and security attestation of authorized users.
  • Configuring products and parameters in the Card Management Systems, Card Switch and Merchant/Agency systems.
  • Support in ensuring timely processing of both incoming and outgoing settlement files for Visa, MasterCard, UPI and JCB as well as timely delivery of related MIS reports to users.
  • Performing core systems administration tasks that include, but not limited to, maintaining an inventory of systems, patch management and security attestation of authorized users.
  • Continual Service Improvement by recommending and implementing upgrades or changes to the Card Switch, ATM, POS and Agency banking systems.
  • Develop subject matter expert knowledge of Card Systems, ATM, Agency/Merchant banking and Ecommerce payment banking technologies.

 The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related
  • At least four years’ experience in information technology with at least 2 years’ experience in Card systems administration.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Agency, Merchant and Ecommerce.
  • 1 year experience Banking Operations.
