Senior Manager, Business Analysis

Responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional teams including business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to gather and document business and technical requirements, analyze, and validate the requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. The person will provide thought leadership and direction in considering all aspects of product design, supporting product development teams to meet business and technical requirements efficiently, effectively, and safely in line with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving the requirements engineering and design activities of products delivery, set direction and quality check the associated deliverables within the project context.
• Oversee the elicitation, analysis, validation, and verification of business and technical requirements information from business users and product experts, and technical teams ensuring that requirement are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and negotiate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize the requirements.
• Conduct peer reviews of Business Analysis artifacts and documentations ensuring review comments are clearly documented and articulated and all concerns addressed to the expectation of all stakeholders.
• Contributes to the specification of functional and non-functional Test strategy documents, test cases and scenarios, and undertakes their reviews and validations for accuracy, coverage, and conformity to requirements.
• Manage business relationships with different business functions and stake holders and participates in the prioritization of initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Working and aligning with the risk, compliance, and data protection teams to complete new products and services risk assessments and ensure services reach the bank’s risk and compliance standards.
• Contributes in creation of solution architecture and designs to meet business requirements through existing systems or new solutions and maintains the detailed understanding of the system designs and architectures in order to validate requirements and define functional behavior of the services and systems.
• Engages business and technology stakeholders in process reviews to ensure that technology systems are aligned with business processes, maximum cost optimizations and improved turnaround time.
• Contributes towards proper release planning to guarantee successful solution deployments and adherence to business needs and priorities while keeping stakeholders constantly up to date on progress.
• Review the current deployment approaches and evaluates / proposes opportunities for enhancing the deployment model for new and existing solutions.
• Manage, coach, mentor and grow staff within the function while instilling the discipline of business analysis and design within the organization.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: 

• Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
• Professional Qualifications: ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), TOGAF
• At least 7 years' progressive experience in Information Technology
• At least 4 years' experience in Business analysis and architecture
• At least 4 years' experience in IT Projects 
• At least 2 years' experience in Emerging Technologies (e.g. Mobile, Internet Banking, Cloud, Microservices etc)
• At least 2 years' experience in Systems & Applications Support
