Enterprise Domain Architect - Data & Analytics

The holder will be responsible for defining and supporting the implementation the data and analytics architecture to support the bank's strategic objectives. This role involves designing robust data solutions, implementing analytics capabilities, and ensuring the effective utilization of data assets to drive informed decision-making and achieve business goals.

The role will report to the Head of Group Enterprise Architecture and Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy for Data & Analytics, aligning it with the Bank's business goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain the high level and low-level architecture blueprints of data and analytics domain.
• Architect analytics solutions and capabilities such as data mining, predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, to extract actionable insights from data and drive strategic decision-making, risk management, and customer engagement.
• Design data integration solutions to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability between disparate systems, applications, and business units, enabling a unified view of enterprise data.
• Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, and Technology teams to understand data requirements and formulate an architecture that enables efficient and effective analytics.
• Support in the selection and implementation of data platforms and technologies to enable the collection, storage, and processing of large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Optimize data infrastructure architecture to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging cloud computing, containerization, and other modern technologies to support evolving business needs.
• Provide technical leadership for data initiatives and projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, project timelines, and budget constraints.
• Explore emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence, and assess their applicability to the bank's data strategy, driving innovation and competitive advantage.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data and analytics architectures, standards, and guidelines.

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study.
• Professional qualifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect and Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS or Azure or GCP).
• 10+ years progressive experience in Information Technology technologies.
• 7 years’ experience in at least two Technology disciplines such as (Database administration, Data warehousing, Analytics, Cloud).
• 7 years’ Extensive knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics technologies.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience Required in:

• Hybrid data architectures and migrations from on-premises to the cloud and vice versa.
• Familiarity with graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to breakdown complex items to actionable elements
• Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
• Familiarity with graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories
• Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications on individual components and projects
• Ability to liaise with all levels of management and subject matter experts across the industry and within the organization to drive adoption of Enterprise Architecture
