KCB FC Set for Crucial Test Against AFC Leopards in Redemption Efforts
KCB FC will be looking to bounce back strongly when they face AFC Leopards on Thursday, February 26, 2026, in a highly anticipated FKF Premier League clash at the Kasarani Stadium.
The Bankers head into the encounter determined to respond positively after a difficult Sunday afternoon that saw them fall 3-0 to rivals Gor Mahia. That result halted their recent momentum and left them eighth on the log with 29 points, a position they will be keen to improve as the season edges into a decisive phase.
“AFC Leopards are a strong side with quality and experience, but we are prepared. We must be compact, disciplined, and clinical. This is an opportunity for us to show character and move up the table rankings,” noted KCB FC Head Coach Robert Matano.
KCB Rugby Head to Nakuru for Crunch Kenya Cup Showdown Against Menengai Oilers
KCB Rugby will this weekend make the trip to Nakuru for a high-stakes Kenya Cup encounter against Menengai Oilers at the ASK Showground, in what promises to be a defining fixture in the title race.
The Bankers head into the clash brimming with confidence after a dominant 61-16 victory over MMUST last weekend. Currently sitting third on the Kenya Cup table, KCB trails leaders Kabras Sugar and second-placed Menengai Oilers, who have a better points difference.
Head Coach Andrew Amonde said: “For us, it is about maintaining our standards. We have worked hard on our structures, our set pieces, and game management. If we execute our plan and stay disciplined for the full 80 minutes, we give ourselves a very good chance.”
KCB Drivers Intensify Preparations for Next Month’s Safari Rally
KCB Racing Team drivers have stepped up their preparations ahead of the World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally Kenya slated for March 12–15, as they gear up to fly the Kenyan flag high at the iconic global motorsport spectacle.
Over the weekend, Uganda’s Oscar Ntambi and Nikhil Sachania put their machines through rigorous testing sessions at Stoni Athi, fine-tuning suspension setups, pace notes, and endurance capabilities in terrain that mirrors the demanding conditions of the Safari.
“Our pre-rally testing session has been productive. We have learnt a great deal about the cars’ setup and how it performs on rough terrain and we are ready to push, represent our sponsors with pride, and compete strongly against the best in the world,” said Ntambi.
