African Champions KCB Prepares For Playoffs

African Club champions KCB will be looking to add another trophy to its cabinet when the team locks horns with local rivals in the 2022 playoffs slated for January 15th, 2023, at the Makande Indoor Gymnasium, Mombasa County.

Head Coach Japheth Munala has urged his charges to replicate their heroics at the African Club Championships in Kelibia, Tunisia which saw the team clinch the coveted trophy after a 16-year wait.

“We are preparing to face formidable opponents in the local league therefore, we are not taking anything to chance. The girls played against these teams during the club championships, and we expect them to portray the same winning mentality and valiant displays,” Munala said.
