Former champions KCB have turned their attention to the upcoming Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league playoffs in May, following a commendable showing at the 2025 African Club Championship held in Abuja, Nigeria.
The bankers secured a fifth-place finish at the continental tournament after a dominant 3-0 victory over local rivals Prisons Kenya in the classification match played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
“It was a great competition; we gave the young players an opportunity to showcase their talent and skill on that level. I know we had gone all out for the trophy, but we are happy nonetheless because we put up a fight. Right now, we will focus on reclaiming our title,” said KCB Head Coach Japheth Munala.
With their continental campaign wrapped up, KCB now shift gears to the domestic league, eyeing a return to the top of Kenyan volleyball.
