KCB FC to Face Nairobi United in Crunch Sportpesa League

Premier League side KCB FC will take on Naibois in a crunch Sportpesa League match at the Kasarani Main Stadium on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, from 4 pm.

The bankers have registered an impressive run in the league, winning thrice, while settling for a draw once, and have lost once in their last five matches of the current 2025/26 season. The team currently sits seventh with 22 points after 15 rounds. 

“Currently, we are on an upward trajectory, so we expect to go into our next match with the belief that we will secure maximum points. I expect the boys to show up and to play according to our game plan,” noted Head Coach Robert Matano.

 

KCB RFC Plays Kenya Harlequin in Kenya Cup

KCB Rugby Club is set to host Kenya Harlequin in a Kenya Cup fixture this Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at the KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka, as the race for the title intensifies.

Over the weekend, the Andrew Amonde-led side cruised 43-19 over Nakuru RFC away at the Nakuru Athletics Club. The bankers are currently sitting third behind Oilers and Kabras Sugar, who have a better points difference.

“Kenya Harlequin have massively improved in the recent past. We expect a very difficult task, but I am convinced that the team is up to the task. We will work hard to ensure that we continue to win games as the league progresses,” noted Head Coach Andrew Amonde.

 

KCB Women’s Volleyball Team out to Defend Kenya Cup Title

Holders KCB Women’s Volleyball Team will be participating in the second edition of the Kenya Cup Volleyball Tourney, expected to serve off from Thursday, January 15th, this week through to Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at Nyayo Stadium.

The bankers have been drawn in pool A alongside A-Plus, detectives DCI and Nairobi Prisons. They will face A-Plus in the opening fixture before squaring it out with Nairobi Prisons and DCI, respectively.

“This competition is very important for us. We need to set the tone from the onset; therefore, we will head into the opening fixture with a positive attitude and a vibrant squad ready to conquer for the second consecutive year. We have prepared well, and we are ready for action,” reckoned Coach Japheth Munala.
