What We Need From You*

• Kenyan national ID or passport.
• Your KRA PIN.
• Duly filled credit card application form
• Bank statements for the last 6 months if self-employed – account turnover of between of Kes 50,000.
• 3 Months’ salary account bank statement
• Latest pay slip – minimum net salary of Kes 30,000.

*A bank representative may call you at any time to obtain further information in line with our KYC process. At no point shall you be asked for your PIN or passwords.  Remember, PIN yako siri yako.

• Joining fee - Kes 3000 waived.
• Monthly Interest - 3.5% of the total amount due.
• Cash advance fee - 6% of amount accessed
• Late payment fee - 5% of total outstanding balance
• Over limit fee - Kes 1,000
• Annual fee - Kes 3,000
• Card replacement fee - Kes 1,000
• Supplementary card - Kes 1,000
• Minimum repayment - 10% of total billed amount
• Insurance Fee - 0.0380% of the amount transacted.

What does 45 Day interest free period mean?

• The payment due date on your credit card is 15 days after the statement date, the day when the statement is made.
• A credit card's interest-free period is the time between the transaction date and the payment due date.
• If you make a purchase on day one after receiving your statement (Statement cycle) then you have 45 days to pay the balance of that purchase without being charged interest. Interest free Credit period reduces as you transact closer to the payment due date.
• It is very easy to avoid interest on your credit card if you manage the dates and payments well. All you need to do is to understand the process and be financially responsible to make payments before the due date.
